These are the failures that actually come up, in roughly the order they happen:
- Dropping the character references because an American template had no field for them.

How it works
The form is built from a country rule set, not a single template with a different heading. Choosing a country changes which fields exist: the Gulf and German builders ask for a photo, date of birth and visa status, while the US, UK, Canadian and Australian builders do not offer those fields at all — because supplying them there does measurable harm.

Someone who can speak to you personally rather than professionally — a former teacher, a community leader, a long-standing acquaintance. Philippine employers commonly ask for two or three, named with their position and contact number. Ask them before listing them.
Should I include civil status?
Many Philippine application forms ask for it, so including it on the resume saves a step. If you would rather not state it, leaving it off a resume is not usually held against you — the form will ask if it matters.
Will the PDF pass an applicant tracking system?
