Free Resume Maker — Choose Your Country Format
Build a resume free, with no account and nothing uploaded — in the format employers in your country actually expect.
Professional summary — AI draft
AI is used for this one field and nothing else. It reads your job title and the roles you have listed, drafts two or three sentences, and puts them in the summary box for you to edit. The rest of the form never leaves your device.
Download opens your browser’s print dialog — choose Save as PDF as the destination. That keeps a real text layer, which is what lets an applicant tracking system read your Resume. Builders that export an image instead produce a file that looks correct and parses as blank.
How to use this tool
- Fill in the form on the left. The fields shown are the ones International employers expect — fields that would hurt you there are not offered at all.
- Add your roles and education with the Add buttons. The preview updates as you type.
- Optionally click Draft my summary to have AI write the professional summary, then edit it. AI touches nothing else.
- Pick a template — Classic, Modern or Compact — and check the preview on the right.
- Click Download PDF and choose Save as PDF in the print dialog.
Most resume builders give everyone the same template and let the applicant discover the mismatch after the rejections. The conventions genuinely differ: a photo is expected in Dubai and Germany, and actively harmful in the United States, where many employers discard photo resumes to limit discrimination liability. Pick the country you are applying in and the form changes with it.
The specification

| Export | Print to PDF — keeps a real text layer |
| AI | Optional, and only for the professional summary |
| Privacy | Saved in your browser; nothing uploaded |
Why uploads get rejected
Meeting the size is only part of it. These are the failures that actually come up:
- Using one resume for every country. The photo that helps in Dubai is the single most damaging thing you can put on a US resume.
- Exporting as an image. It looks right and parses as blank to recruitment software.
- A two-column layout in an ATS-heavy market — parsers read straight across, interleaving the columns into nonsense.
How it works
The form is built from a country rule set, not a single template with a different heading. Choosing a country changes which fields exist: the Gulf and German builders ask for a photo, date of birth and visa status, while the US, UK, Canadian and Australian builders do not offer those fields at all — because supplying them there does measurable harm.
The preview beside the form is the actual document. It renders as you type, and the download is your browser printing that same HTML to PDF. That matters more than it sounds: the alternative approach — drawing the resume to a canvas and wrapping the image in a PDF — produces a file that looks perfect and contains no text at all. An applicant tracking system reads it as an empty page. Printing keeps a real text layer, so the resume parses.
Your data is held in your browser's local storage so you can come back to it. It is never sent to us. The one exception is the AI summary draft, which sends only your job title and role list to generate two or three sentences.

Frequently asked questions
Which country format should I choose?
The country you are applying to work in, not the one you live in or come from. An Indian national applying to a Dubai employer wants the Dubai format; the same person applying to a US employer wants the US one, with the photo and date of birth removed.
Is it really free with no sign up?
Yes. No account, no trial, no watermark, no download limit. Your resume is built in your browser, so there is no server cost to recover and nothing to gate.
Can I come back and edit it later?
Yes. It is saved in your browser's local storage on that device. It is not saved on our servers, so it will not follow you to another device — and equally, we never hold your personal details.
Does the AI write my whole resume?
No, deliberately. AI drafts the professional summary and nothing else. Your experience, education and skills are yours — AI-invented work history is both obvious to recruiters and a genuine problem in an interview.
Will it pass an ATS?
The export keeps a real text layer, which is the main thing parsers need. Layout matters too, which is why the templates are single-column. Check the finished file with the ATS Resume Checker on this site.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. The interface adapts to phone and tablet screens and everything runs in the browser, so there is no app to install.
