Handwritten Declaration Resizer

Resize a scanned handwritten declaration to 800 × 400 pixels, between 50 and 100 KB.

Target: 50 KB – 100 KB
Dimensions: 800 × 400 px
Choose your scan or drag it here output 800 × 400 px · 50 KB–100 KB · JPG, PNG, WebP or HEIC in · JPEG out · paste from the clipboard works too

How to use this tool

  1. Choose your photograph, or drag it onto the box above. It is cropped to fill 800 × 400 px from the centre — never stretched, so faces keep their proportions.
  2. There is nothing to set. This page is already fixed at 800 × 400 px, between 50.0 KB and 100.0 KB, JPEG.
  3. Check the verdict before downloading. Because this form has a floor as well as a ceiling, the panel tells you whether the file landed inside 50.0 KB–100.0 KB — not merely under the top.

Bank recruitment forms ask for a fourth upload beyond the photograph, signature and thumb impression: a short declaration copied out in your own handwriting. IBPS and SBI publish it at 800 × 400 pixels and 50–100 KB — a wide, shallow box, because the text is meant to run across two or three lines rather than fill a page.

Handwritten Declaration Resizer: why uploads get rejected

A file can be the right size and still bounce — and here the size itself has two edges, since anything under 50 KB is refused just as firmly as anything over 100 KB. These are the failures that actually come up:

  • It is written in capitals. The notifications state the declaration must be in normal running handwriting, not block capitals — this is the single most common rejection.
  • It is not in English, or not in your own handwriting. Both are explicit requirements.
  • There is overwriting or a correction. Rewrite the whole thing rather than striking through.
  • The paper is ruled, coloured or marked. Use plain white paper.
  • The scan is mostly empty paper, so the writing is tiny inside the 800 × 400 box. Crop tight to the text first.

How it works

Most compressors pick a fixed quality level and hope for the best, which is why they either overshoot the limit or land far below it and throw away detail you did not need to lose.

This tool runs a binary search instead. It encodes your image at a mid-range quality, measures the resulting file, then narrows the range — higher if there is room, lower if it is over — repeating seven times. It keeps the largest result that still fits. If the lowest quality is still too big, it reduces the pixel dimensions and searches again.

All of it runs on your own device using the browser's canvas API. Nothing is transmitted.

Who needs Handwritten Declaration Resizer

IBPS PO, IBPS Clerk, IBPS RRB, IBPS SO, SBI PO and SBI Clerk applications all require this upload alongside the photograph, signature and left thumb impression.

Handwritten Declaration Resizer — frequently asked questions

What exactly do I write?

Copy the wording printed in your own notification, filling your name into the blank. The text is a first-person statement that the information in the application is correct and true and that the photograph, signature and thumb impression are yours. Do not paraphrase it, and do not copy the wording from a coaching website — it varies between cycles and between exams.

Can I write it in capital letters?

No. The notifications say so explicitly, and it is the most common reason a declaration is rejected. Use ordinary running handwriting.

Where do these dimensions come from?

800 × 400 pixels at 50–100 KB is the figure given in the IBPS and SBI uploading guidelines, and it is consistent across every source we checked. We could not open the official PDF ourselves, so treat it as well-corroborated rather than independently verified, and check the notification for the cycle you are applying to — these ranges do change.

My declaration is under the minimum after resizing. Does that matter?

Yes. 50–100 KB is a range, not a ceiling. A file at 20 KB is rejected the same as one at 150 KB. This tool holds the result inside the range and tells you plainly if it could not.

Can I type it instead?

Only if your notification allows it. Some permit a typed declaration with a left thumb impression below for candidates who cannot write. Otherwise it must be handwritten.

How do I resize my photo for the Handwritten Declaration Resizer form online?

Upload it to the tool at the top of this page. It is already set to the Handwritten Declaration Resizer specification, so there is nothing to configure — select your photo and download the result. Everything happens on your device, so it works even on a slow connection near the application deadline.

Your photograph is never uploaded. That matters near a deadline: the work happens on your device, so it does not slow down when the portal does, and it works on a weak connection — how that works.
